Google to remove location sharing app

Google is removing the Trusted Contacts app from the Play store. This app allowed users to nominate certain contacts to track their location as well as providing their location when they didn’t respond. Instead of this app, Google has integrated a similar software into Google Maps. However, in this reimagined version, users need to have location sharing on at all times or for an allocated amount of time for sharing to be possible.
